February 9, 2022 – G2 is proud to announce that it has been awarded awarded the GSA 8(a) STARS III direct award vehicle. The contract number is 47QTCB22D0264.
The 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resource for Services III (STARS III) Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) is a Multiple Award, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (MA-IDIQ) contract to provide IT services and IT services-based solutions to Federal customers. Examples of work that can be performed under STARS III include Data Management, Information and Communications Technology, IT Operations and Maintenance, IT Security, Software Development, and Systems Design.
STARS III also includes two scope sub-areas – Emerging Technology and OCONUS. The Emerging Technology scope sub-area includes Artificial Intelligence, Autonomic Computing, Blockchain, Quantum Computing, Robotic Process Automation, Technological Convergence, and Virtual Reality. The OCONUS scope sub-area allows for work to be performed outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS).
8(a) STARS III provides the following:
- Access to customized IT solutions from a large, diverse pool of 8(a) industry contractors
- Safe, effective, and flexible contracts from highly qualified and rigorously vetted partners
- Short procurement lead times
Under the 8(a) STARS III contract procurement receives our 8(a)/SDVOSB/WOSB credits, when issuing a direct award.
